However, the following guidelines should provide a basic foundation on which to establish an agreement between property owner/property agent and film company that is successful for everyone.

We have developed a Locations Database and Location Management Structure for future productions and believe that your property has the potential of being used for stills and film shoots.

LOCATION MANAGEMENT

Guartec Services offers professional location scouting and location management services to Directors, Producers, Production Designers and Art Directors in South Africa. Our experience is built upon Neville Botha working with prominent production houses in South Africa that have developed strong working relationships with internationally recognised production companies and film studios across the globe.

KZN is best known for its abundance of golden sand beaches, beach strips/promenades, warms ocean, rolling hills (Valley of a 1000 Hills), savannas, tropical forests, rivers, waterfalls, mountain ranges, gorges, colonial architectures, art decor buildings and English architecture in summer. Other draw cards include the largest Indian population outside of India and the Traditional Zulu's native to this region. Durban is the second largest City in South Africa and is by far the best Pan African City on the continent.

Guartec Services boasts a large data base of location images built up on from the past and present, a phone call or email away and ready for your next treatment, board or script. The data base is there for getting into the mood prior to embarking on a scout.

Chaperones: We provide qualified and experienced chaperones to get you safely to your desired location.

Traffic Plans: We are able to apply for the necessary permits and provide traffic control for your desired event.

Striking of Sets and Rehabilitation: On completion of your production we will then set out to strike (demolish) the set using the RRR (reduce reuse recycle) in the process. Once the set has been completely demolished, we will then start the rehabilitation process.
